I’m half-watching the 1980 Warner Bros. cartoon version of The Return of the King.
It’s bizarre, and somewhat scary, but nice in some ways, if seeing Orcs turned into Raccoons in Sam’s fantasies your idea of a good scene.

Several memorable scenes:
Bilbo: “But why destroy a thing of such wondrous magic?”
Frodo: “It was an evil thing, sir”.
Bilbo: “Nay!”
– Bilbo, showing remarkable ignorance of the ring he bore, set *AFTER* the ring was destroyed.

Sam: “Oh! I can feel you change as we draw near the great furnaces where in the depth of time you were shaped and formed!”
– Sam, in a rare moment of poetic solliloquy.

The hobbits also look like potatos. Cute.
Oh, and Gwaihir the Windlord, King of Eagles, seems to be meowing. Scary.
