9 Sep 2006Outside of New York, near the incosequential town of Elmsford sits the majestic site of the El-Dorado diner.
The first thing you notice is the neon sign outside – the cursive font, the darkened letters struggling to light up but failing
The second thing you notice are the booths, with sticky faux-leather seats and a personalized jukebox that seemed to have an inordinate amount of Pink Floyd choices.
We had to order the cheeseburgers, of course. |
פעם היה לי לייבג'ורנל. עכשיו הוא כאן, מגובה.

You write well; write more
Once it’s over, you could write a mega-post of some sort. Up and In Between the Coasts, or something like that.

Are they a regional thing? I haven’t seen them so far in New York and New England.

Actually, even though they are supposedly all over the place I never actually scene a Kripy Creme stores. BUT- Starbucks carries Krispy Kreme donuts, though they’re usually all gone after 11 am or so. But you simply must take advantage of Starbucks carrying them and get an Original Glaze. It’s beynod delicious, it’s a religious experience.
