27 Jan 2002Why did I use that quote up there, taken from the brilliant-but-erratic series Twin Peaks?
Damned if I know. It seemed to pop to my mind, and that’s more or less the point. I seem to be in one of those moods where my mind wanders. It can have bad consequences – my work tends to be neglected when I’m like this, but generally I think the overall effect is better for one reason – I tend to be more amusing (or so I like to think). My mind goes off on tangents. Quotes from half-remembered TV shows a decade gone pop to mind. Strange things abound in that uncharted wasteland that is my brain.
Going over this journal entry, it seems a lot less witty that I wished it to be. Should I erase it out of hand and stop the embarassment? If you’re reading this, chances are I didn’t. I feel victim to the sin of Superbia (Pride), and refused to erase this, my brainchild.
Ok, so comparing a Cardinal Sin to my unwillingness to erase something I worked 5 minutes on is a bit of an overreaction, but I don’t see what that has to do with anything, anyway. And you’re all just out to get me, anyway. Yeah!
…or something.
*sigh*
What a nice thought just occured to me. In order to prevent my own embarassment and self-conciousness about writing my mind out in a public forum, I’ll just make messages so boring no-one will want to read them. Hurrah!

Where is my mind?
Mind, why should I mind?
If my thoughts in your Friends-list you now wish to find?
If you wish for my brainspurts to take up your time?
(I’m tired. You can tell, for I’m writing in rhyme.)
