Miscellaneous Debris – Archive

I know it’s a bit passé to get excited about these things, but the Huygens space-probe has landed on Saturn’s moon Titan yesterday, apparently resting on solid ground and not into a sea of liquid methane, and has been sending back images and (quite pointlessly) sounds from Saturn’s moon. Alien winds, man. Alien winds.

The blurry image above is, in fact, my WiFi access point, hanging by a shoelace over my bed. This is to maximize the coverage by having it as close to my neighborhood café. Still short by 15 meters. Grrr.

I now have the soundtrack of The Sound Fantastik in my car. Fun.

Oh, and I got a new car.

Watching 45 minutes of my life go down the drain. Going through an exhaustively pointless online Flash tutorial of how to use TAU’s online catalog. It’s mandatory, tiresome, can’t be skipped or watched through and, as of 10 seconds ago, crashed my browser. Yay. Update: It knows how to resume. *whew*

Have finally returned from my exile, and resumed working at my home office. This means: 1) Internet connectivity is back up. 2) Work productivity is back down. 3) Food is better, but more expensive. 4) Commuting is again performed using my own two feet. 5) Life is better.
