"Then I saw her face, now I’m a believer" – I’m a Believer / The Monkees

I like band t-shirts. It’s a bit teenagerish, I’ll grant you, but I try to restrict myself to shirt by bands I’ve seen live. I love my Pixies shirts, as well as the Dresden Dolls and the Flaming Lips.

However, I don’t see myself wearing a t-shirt with a singer’s face on it. David Bowie may be one of my favorite artists ever, but I won’t wear his face on my chest.
Smiths? Sure. Morrissey? Unlikely.
I suspect it’s walking too fine a line between music fan and hero worship.

Yeah it just looks weird anatomically. Makes more sense to wear their chest on your chest.

Re: anatomically weird?

Ooh, coolness.
Loved the Leonard Cohen and Prince, and the Ted Nugent/The Wall combo. Also, the Tiffanny was very well done, and the BowieRare.
