Seattle’s Metro bus company provides a helpful tutorial, including a 16-minute video, of how to ride the bus. It starts with the basics – “Go to your closest bus stop”, moves on to useful everyday tips – “When the bus approaches, check the route number and destination (shown above the front window) to be sure it is your bus.” – and finishing up with some rules and regulations, such as those prohibiting “Spitting, expectorating, urinating or defecating except in restroom facilities.” (I had to look that one up) or “Carrying flammable liquids, flammable or nonflammable explosives, acid or any other article or material of a type or in a manner that is likely to cause harm to others”.
