Now Des Moins seemed quite ugly from afar so I’ve made it a point to avoid it at all cost. But Iowa City was charming. You shouldn’t miss the scenic roads on the south east and the north east of the country.
Gah. I was in both Ames and Des Moines but am since far, far away.
Just as well. I’ve been to SO many comic shops in the past few weeks. 🙂
Iowa City is a bit out of my way – I’m going westwards right now. Iowa itself is very… picturesque, though. An entry about that is forthcoming.
