A great twist on an old favorite:
I just got a lengthy email from one Ms. URLIKA OMERZEL JAGODIC, personal secretary to Mikhail Khodorkovsky the
founder and owner of YUKOS OIL of Russia, (Russian Largest Oil Company).
It seems that the poor Mr. Khodorovsky has been arrested by the Putin government for financing an opposing political party, and all his bank accounts are to be frozen. The resourceful and (no-doubt) lovely Ms. Jagodic has brilliantly managed to produce a memo stating that Yukos Oil owes a foreign contractor a sum of $23 Million, which she will transfer to my (my!) bank account, wait for things to calm down, and ask for it back, deducting 20% commission of course.

It’s nice to know that stings and scams are evolving. This particular one, though, should be easy enough to verify (and debunk).
