A while ago Slashdot published an article about the iPod Shuffle playing favorites on music played – with suspicions that it’s biased towards labels who pay Apple for the push.
The paranoia itself is silly enough, but this comment really cracked me up:

I only have one song on my iPod too. It’s by Led Zeppelin. When I hit shuffle play the song remains the same.
